15 Jan Update from El Salvador

Following temporary inactivity in El Salvador brought about by the COVID-19 epidemic, Operation Footprint visited the Benjamin Bloom Children’s Hospital in San Salvador (https://www.facebook.com/hospitalbloom/) in August 2023 to discuss a potential collaboration. This long-established institution is a significant center for pediatric surgery and training in Central America. We are pleased to announce that its orthopedic staff and administration have invited us to conduct surgical brigade scheduled on January 19 to 21, 2024. We look forward to sharing our experience and expertise at this beautiful facility and learning their approach to deformity correction as well. We will report on our activities there in the future.
